Switching from Lightspeed

Bring your whole store across, without touching Lightspeed

Connect your Lightspeed Retail account once. Hyperdrive reads it — it never writes to it — and builds your workspace from what it finds. You keep selling on Lightspeed until the day you decide to switch.

What comes across

  • ✓ Shops, mapped to your locations
  • ✓ Items, with sizes and colors as one product
  • ✓ Brands and vendors
  • ✓ Categories
  • ✓ Customers — names and contact details, never card data
  • ✓ Stock on hand, per location
  • ✓ Price, cost, UPC/EAN and custom SKU on every row
  • ✓ Sales history and gift card balances

Every product comes across, not only what is in stock, and every finished sale with it. You choose which customers come; anyone holding store credit or a gift card balance always does.

How it goes

  1. Connect. You sign in on Lightspeed’s own page. Your password never reaches us.
  2. Check. Seconds. We read one real record of each kind and say what we can see.
  3. Bring it across. Runs in the background — hours for a large catalogue. Close the page; we email you.
  4. The report. What came across, what was left out and why, stock by shop.
Nothing goes live silently. The reconciliation report lists everything that needs a decision — negative stock carried over from the old system, items with no price, a size missing from a matrix, duplicate SKUs, a shop you didn’t map — and waits for you. Negative stock is flagged for you to fix before go-live, never quietly overwritten.
Where this stands today. The move has run for real: a whole store’s products, sales, customers and gift cards came across in one run and were written into its shop from the report screen. Bringing later changes across again until you cut over, then disconnecting, are still being built.
